The workshop was supported by a queer feminist community consisting mostly of people with post-Soviet backgrounds. It  was conducted in the context of “Өмә” [ome] exhibition at Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien (runtime: 11/03/2023 to 29/05/2023) examining Russian colonialism and anticolonial resistance, and attracted around twenty participants. Most of the participants shared experience of living in countries like Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia and Russia, so the initial goals of our project to gather together queer people from homophobic countries was at least partially achieved. The workshop took place in the “Murx” activist space on April 8 2023 and was about four hours long. The outcome mostly consisted of poetry pieces, drawings, and paper crafts all of which are included into the archive.
